Mr. Marco Buoni is an expert in refrigeration, air conditioning and capacity buildings, furthermore leading the training activities related to certification and best practices at international level. From 2018 to 2022 he was President of the Air conditioning, heat pumps and Refrigeration European Association of contractors  – AREA . Now he is Past President with special mandate on Internation Affairs.

Mr. Buoni is greatly active in the organisation of training courses, international projects, seminars and conferences in refrigeration technologies worldwide, every year leading over 300 courses for up to 3000 participants. Mr. Buoni collaborates with United Nations in particular for the progress of this sector in developing countries, and the European Commission in addressing the international sectoral policies.

Since 2004, he is the Technical Director of Centro Studi Galileo , the most renowned training center in Italy in the HVAC/R sector, and Secretary General of the Italian Association of Refrigeration Technicians - ATF
