I think for the students of the year particularly, is celebrating. There’s amazing candidates, the shortlist was fantastic this year, 8 really passionate individuals but also all of the other shortlisted entries for the other awards – it’s a great celebration for what our industry is doing.

It’s an opportunity to celebrate and recognise innovation within the industry and best practice. The industry is changing so rapidly, and the awards are an opportunity to see all of what’s happening.

The evening has been fantastic, we’ve had so many different people from so many backgrounds, and really we are all here to celebrate and all on the same path about doing what’s best for the industry.

This is our first event, and I have to say I think the cooling awards are a great example of recognition of companies who deliver value for their sector and their industry. I think it’s a great event and I think it’s important we have an event like the cooling awards.

It’s a judgement of the advances within the industry that’s essentially been struggling for many years. It’s always pretty good to see what the industry comes up with and innovative ideas and products and celebrate the great innovative products we’ve got in the industry.
