Judges
Judges are selected from major clients and industry figures and contribute valuable time and effort to work through hundreds of entries, reviewing against strict criteria and attributing scores aimed at rewarding and recognising the very best of the cooling industry.
The 2026 judges will be announced shortly.
Judging process
The Cooling Industry Awards has the most prestigious and rigorous judging process in the RAC industry. The awards follows a two-stage judging process which includes an independent panel of judges, made up of major clients and industry figures, who meet to select winners in each category.
- Round One: All entrants must complete the entry form in full to be considered for the shortlist. Please refer to the Entry Guidelines page for details. Shortlisted companies and individuals will then be notified
- Final Judging: The shortlist will be deliberated by our carefully selected panel of judges. To guarantee fairness, no judge assesses a category where they have a vested interest, nor do competing businesses evaluate one another. All judging takes place under Chatham House Rules, with every judge signing a non-disclosure agreement. The winners are chosen by secret ballot, with no judge knowing the outcome before the awards night.
This process, honed and refined over the last 23 years, ensures the RAC Cooling Awards remain the most respected and credible accolades in the industry.
