Dr Jon Summers is currently Scientific Leader in Data Centres at RISE SICS North in Sweden, where he is focussing his attention towards holistic data centre research to bridge the gap between facility and IT that enables innovative cooling approaches. Jon is also a part-time senior academic at the University of Leeds. During the last 25 years, he has worked on many government and industry funded research and development projects, and his experience in leading scientific research within the data centre sector has been invaluable in delivering a data centre sector Joint Action Plan to the European Commission.
