Martin Ronceray is a qualified European and Chartered engineer, and is a competent health and safety professional. He has joined BSRIA in 2016 to support the Sustainable Construction Group in improving the construction process of buildings by reviewing design solutions, fabrication and construction methods, right through to evaluating in - use operations. He is also investigating failures in building services and providing knowledge and expertise on water systems. Co - author of BSRIA publications on allocating design responsibilities and success criteria for Soft Landings projects, he regularly delivers training on building services legislation and water systems. Martin provides fact based guidance and consultancy services that will help those involved in designing, constructing and operating services in buildings to improve cost, quality, time and predictability of performance. His role covers the whole construction process journey and beyond. Prior to joining BSRIA Martin worked over 10 years in the energy sector and particularly on transcontinental distribution pipelines, subsea facilities and processing plants. He was responsible for the delivery of complex and innovative design, fabrication and construction scopes in Europe and Asia worth up to $50 billions. He also worked on critical operation and integrity of production facilities with over $200 millions annual operating cost.
