I started my refrigeration career in 2004, “on the tools”, as an apprentice engineer, whilst studying refrigeration, air conditioning and Building Services Engineering. I eventually became a senior design and applications engineer, taking on larger and more complex supermarket design projects.
I won the prestigious RAC /IOR National Student of the Year Award in 2006, followed by the Eastleigh college governor’s award in 2007 and in 2009, won the Wessex BSE Engineer of the Year (National Certificate).
I now work as an account manager at Resource Data Management. We support customers on their journey to achieve net zero. We help companies control HVACR assets, manage energy, and ensure regulatory compliance.
The industry has provided me with many opportunities to learn and grow, and to develop academically and professionally.
